Sleek lines and a highly resolved underwater section ensure she embodies the very latest in Princess design and technology, delivering thoroughbred performance and an assured, stable ride for effortlessly fast and efficient cruising.
Around 70% of all the GRP structures are moulded using an innovative development of resin infusion, enabling an engineered weight reduction to achieve higher speeds, lower fuel consumption and increased cruising range.
Raised bulwarks and deep side decks bestow the feeling of a true Motor Yacht, which is complemented by the clever integration of accommodation spaces to minimise any change in deck heights. A hydraulic raising and lowering transom platform is incorporated as standard while a high capacity crane is fitted to the flybridge for secure and convenient stowage of the main tender.
The flybridge itself is expansive and incorporates a single deck level, allowing for the option of a hot tub plus a large wetbar with relaxed seating area and sunbed arrangement.
The main deck accommodates a broad and sumptuous saloon area utilising the 78 Motor Yacht’s generous beam. The galley is situated to the port side and is equipped with the latest high quality appliances. A side deck door allows crew access without moving through the entertaining spaces while a bulkhead can be opened or closed as preferred, providing greater privacy for the large main dining area.
A comfortable dinette is located adjacent to the main helm as an informal breakfast area or for occasional seating when underway, whilst the helm itself has been designed for optimum visibility with clear sightlines and an intuitive control layout incorporating the latest navigational electronics.
The voluminous lower accommodation features four immaculately presented cabins all with en suite facilities. A spacious full-beam master stateroom
amidships includes a private breakfast area, walk- in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with a large separate stall shower or a combination of bath and shower outboard. There are three guest suites which can be configured with two doubles and one twin or with a second twin cabin with convenient sliding berth system for added flexibility. All offer ample storage and feature the finest natural materials and luxurious fittings throughout to ensure guests enjoy an uncompromising level of comfort whilst on board.
Additional accommodation for occasional guests or a full-time crew is situated aft of the machinery space with separate access from the transom or the starboard side deck. V52
The arrival of the new V52 is a landmark event in the evolution of the Princess model range. For the first time a V Class sports yacht of this size is available with an enclosed deck saloon, broadening the reach of open boating to new destinations and for an extended boating season.
The sleek profile of the V52 confirms her positioning in the heart of the V Class range, with masses of dynamic ability and thoroughbred performance when married to her powerful twin engines. Forward thrust is delivered with precision control through custom-machined propellers with twin shafts driven through V-drive gearboxes. This configuration benefits the lower accommodation space but importantly also perfects her centre of gravity to enable her a sophisticated ride and agile handling that have become definitive V Class characteristics.
Complementing the fully ‘open’ models within the V Class range, the main deck of the V52 consists of two independent entertaining areas, the aft cockpit
with a large U-shaped dinette and convertible sunbed, plus the enclosed main deck saloon comfortably located forward of triple sliding glass doors. This arrangement significantly increases the V52’s interior accommodation space while still enabling owners all the enjoyment of open boating with a fixed hardtop that incorporates a large electrically-opening section above the helm.
The V52 is a two stateroom craft, with the owner’s suite located amidships and enjoying the full beam, with a full sized stateroom forward with generous storage and en-suite bathroom, which itself accommodates a full stall shower.
Adjacent to the practical and fully fitted galley, the lower saloon is sumptuously upholstered as a separate entertaining area to the main deck and can be converted to provide additional berths for occasional guests.
The master stateroom provides the owner with a haven of relaxation, with an en-suite shower room, practical storage solutions and a large double bed running fore and aft near the centreline for the most comfortable night’s rest. Triple vertical portlights flood the cabin with natural light from each side, accentuating the quality of the natural fabrics and materials to create a calm and luxurious space.
In the V52 the latest in sports yacht technology combine with Princess’ characteristic deep-V hull for the ultimate combination of assured seakeeping and manoeuvrability to inspire confidence for the most relaxed and enjoyable boating experiences. With her breathtaking good looks, dynamic performance and versatile accommodation, the V52 looks set to redefine her class.

With the option of a rigid hardtop which incorporates a large opening sunroof, the flexibility afforded by the latest in V Class technology and design can be enjoyed on a craft of 42 feet.

For the first time we have seen jet drives applied to High performance craft with small dimanesions. AB Yachts is no doubt the technological point of reference for the whole yachting world. The décision to abandon the old traditional schèmes as far as ship designing and building criteria are concerned has been successful, leaving space to new techniques coming from much more innovative sectors than yachting.
The use of Advanced composites, of particular resins, of sandwich vacuum consolidated extended to evrything which is in composite.
The introduction of aérospatial deriving structurals, for which vibrations and expansion are not allowed, is one of the most consistent innovation, making the total élimination of vibrations transmitting and fatigue cracking screws and joints really possible.
AB Yachts choosed water jet propulsion : the best for those boats needing both excellent performances and a sea life style based on comfort and safety. 58 FLYBRIDGE
A small yacht for great yachtsmen. The largest of the Aicon range under 60 feet is a new yacht which expresses the key concepts of the Aicon style. Eighteen meters of style, elegance and refinement that make the new boat extremely livable and comfortable. Realized with all the characteristics of a mega yacht, that this time have been applied to a boat of approximately 18 meters, the Aicon 58 Fly is the result of an ideal organization of space which creates fluidity between the internal and external lines. The balance between the choice of precious and natural
materials, the best on board equipment and the linearity of the boat make it an example of perfection.
The wide windows and the windlass create a more luminous interior environment and give the boat a more elongated form. A relaxing environment is created, a perfect scenario from which to admire the sea. The spaces are intimate and livable and develop an unicum between the interiors and the exteriors while guaranteeing at the same time a certain privacy and independence to each area, with an emphasis on the
functionality.
The absence of vertical furnishings from bow to stern creates linearity and allows for an uninterrupted, continuous horizontal view of the sea in a harmonious environment. A sophisticated atmosphere emerges from this image which conquers the senses and is made more precious by subdued lighting combined with the essence of teak, the leather details and precious
fabrics.
THE OPEN SPACE
The teak stairs, lead to the stern platform and the spacious cockpit, both being among the largest in the category thus improving the livability of the boat. From the cockpit one enters the comfortable solarium area at bow improved with teak inserts. The sidedecks are equipped with two mooring cleats and by a built-in fuel tank on both sides. From the cockpit, a comfortable linear staircase accesses the fly bridge, the best position from which the boat owner and his guests can dominate the sea. The steering position is laterally located and has full instrumentation and a two person pilot seat. The comfortable sunbathing area is positioned at bow and a dinette with seating for six can be found behind the command post to cater to the guests. Also on the Fly, which is equipped with a plexiglass
windlass, there is a multi-functional cabinet for the mini-fridge, barbecue, a small sink and a practical folding table.
THE LIVING AREA
The large sliding door made of stainless steel and mirrored glass, gives us access to the living area. This entrance to the ample salon opens onto a unique sensation of space and above all comfort. The living area is furnished with two facing sofas. Two steps separate it from the bar-dinette area equipped with a microwave oven and a 250 liters fridge. The functional Granulon counter has two sinks and the four fires cooker are made of glass-ceramic. An average height opaque glass panel separates this
environment from the dining area in front, with a table and seating for six. The all area is illuminated with halogen lights.
Proceeding towards bow, the stearing position, complete with instrument panel, a double monitor and double seating is located. Space, light, comfort and elegance enhance the family feeling with which the
Aicon brand yachts are designed.
SLEEPING QUARTERS.
Immediately after the command bridge, a few steps lead one to the sleeping quarters through which a corridor accesses the three cabins of the lower deck, two of them are equipped with ensuite bathrooms.
The owner's cabin, located midship, takes advantage of the full beam and is illuminated by portholes. Inside the cabin there are a king size bed, a big sofa and an equipped beauty zone that make the environment pleasant and comfortable.
The vip cabin is for largeness and comfort a second owner's cabin. It is at prow and it is illuminated by a central hatchway. OPEN 62
Like the first of the sporty yachts, the Aicon 72 Open, the Aicon 62 Open follows the same philosophy of fluid, continuous lines and balance between interior and exterior with an emphasis on outside iving at the stem cockpit and the bow area.
The Aicon 62 Open has focused on an innovative division of interior space, which has been designed to create a geometric, loft-style environment. The galley has been placed in front of the cabins, but is only a few steps away from the dinette. The area is particularly light thanks to a large windscreen that is on a higher level, increasing the feeling of space.
OPEN 72
The Aicon 72 Open is designed to make the most of extemal spaces and outdoor living with the wide cockpit the centre point of the yacht.
The lines between the extenbr and the interior are in harmony with large, unbroken side Windows and a hard top above the living area that allows you to expérience the iving areas in the open air. Internally, the galley is well positioned between the iving area and the airy dînette, while there are three comfortable cabins with the possibility of adding a fourth.

AZIMUT
Azimut is an Italian yacht-manufacturing company, established by Paolo Vitelli in 1969.
The company started with sailing boat chartering, later developing into a large luxury yacht building industry. The first major work started with a contract at the ship-yard of Amerglass, a modern Dutch shipyard producing boats in fibreglass. The business developed quickly, adding the distribution of sailing boats, motorcruisers and finally motoryachts from different makers: British Powles, Westerly, and others.
The company currently owns Benetti, another luxury ship building company.
The heaquarters of the Azimut Yachts are located in Avigliana, in the province of Turin, with a surface of 100,000 square meters, including the financial department and the yacht building factory. The company has a production rate of 300 boats per year. The main plant can build only yachts up to 68 feet, because of the inshore situation of the yard and its facilities. Larger yachts are ordered from other, larger ship-yards in the world.

PALMER AND JOHNSON
The heritage of Palmer Johnson makes it unique. From humble beginnings as a wooden fishing boat builder more than 90 years ago, the company has emerged as a premier builder of luxury high performance yachts.
Its secure foundation stems from a history of landmark achievements from championship sailing yachts to award winning megayachts.
With the largest built aluminium US yacht, the first Explorer of its type, the first MCA compliant yacht, the first gas turbine powered vessels and notably, the "Fortuna" for the King of Spain, Palmer Johnson has a proud background incomparable to other Superyacht builders.
Palmer Johnson's former company name ‘Johnson and Gmack' founded in 1918 became known for repairing and building boats for the Great Lakes commercial fishing fleet. Ten years later, the founder's son Palmer Johnson began to build their first wooden yacht and demands for such continued to grow.
During the Second World War, under the name of Sturgeon Bay Boat Works, Palmer Johnson created over forty 45-foot air-sea rescue boats and four 65-foot "T" class freighters. In 1956 the company was officially named ‘Palmer Johnson Boats' and was sold to a group of local Sturgeon Bay businessmen.
After being sold to Texas Instrument founder Pat Haggerty in 1961, a significant decision was made to continue construction in welded aluminium. Such a decision set the future path for what is now a widely recognised brand.
Palmer Johnson was acquired by the current owner in 2004. His unique vision and inspiration to produce large semi-custom Sportyachts as opposed to traditional custom tri-deck yachts proved greatly successful and brought Palmer Johnson into the luxury yacht market with a renewed vengeance.
Advanced marine technology and striking design combine to create the most desirable Superyachts in the world. Palmer Johnson's established brand identity is continually shaped through the ideas and unique vision of designers and engineers united in their pursuit to raise standards with each new creation.
Behind the Palmer Johnson pedigree lies a passion for perfection from the production process through to the final presentation.
The Sport Yacht Range
Inaugurated in 2003 with the launch of Cover Drive, Palmer Johnson's successive Sport Series redefines the ideal of luxurious sport vessels. The "Cover Drive Series" personifies Palmer Johnson's philosophy to provide Super Yacht pedigree and aggressive performance with meticulous engineering and cutting edge design.

At the helm of eye-catching innovation and powerful performance, each newly refined model marks the maturation of the series and a progressive prestige in individuality and character. Whilst each new 120 possesses the spirit of the range, each owner's personality and specific requirements cultivate new design dimensions.
PJ 135 (41.1 meters)
Maintaining the sleek lines of her smaller 120 predecessor, the larger, faster 41 metre is a luxury yacht with performance and muscular presence. The generous additional beam width allows for a larger sundeck, impressive fly bridge, Jacuzzi and five guest cabins. The 135's popularity is a declaration of its versatility and unique innovation.
PJ 150 (45.7 meters)
The dramatic 150' model is a further progression of pure Palmer Johnson power and prestige. Her aluminium hull and superstructure ensures speed and agility whilst carefully constructed curves ensure the wheelhouse is a mere extension of her sleek sporting lines. The flagship PJ 170 retains the instantly recognisable identity of the first 120 semi-custom built yacht, although the stylistic refinements and modern technology raise the bar. As the newest addition to the range, the 170 demands attention for combining strong, substantial lines without losing sleek sophistication. Providing more space, the 170' makes the owner's experience even more luxurious and comfortable.
PJ WORLD (81.4 meters)

SPORTRIVA 56
After having risen several times to the challenge of reinterpreting the "Open" concept, Riva set itself a new challenge - to design a yacht with a completely new concept, something never seen before.
The result is the SportRiva 56' "sportfly", a yacht which integrates the flybridge concept with the sporty lines of an Open, whilst still maintaining Riva's inimitable style: a yacht following a "Sporty glamour" philosophy.
This model is the first in a new line called SportRiva, whose models will be defined by their length. The SportRiva collection has been studied to satisfy the demands of owners who, while not wishing to renounce to the lines of an Open, prefer the convenience of a closed, air-conditioned upper salon, ideal for countries with a tropical clime.
The sporty character, outcome of an original concept, is underlined by aggressive and gritty lines, designed as usual by Mauro Micheli and Officina Italiana Design. The extended, aggressive line gives the boat a strongly dynamic appearance which, together with a number of highly innovative solutions that makes this yacht a true jewel of modern design.
Her style, luxury, the valuable materials used and painstaking care taken over detail balance out the "futuristic" attributes. The resulting yacht, like all the shipyard's models, still exudes the taste of Riva's many year tradition, and her beauty is destined to last. The inimitable Riva style shines through every detail. Hand-made finishing of the highest quality, sophisticated and excellent materials, a painstaking research of maximum liveability, together with a brand new exclusive "Roman Bronze" colour expressly studied and produced for the SportRiva 56'.

SESSA MARINE
Sessa Marine story is one of a family that, generation after generation, carries a dream of excellence for its trademark and products.
Born in 1958, It started with the moulding of plastics but very quickly progressed to the first applications of glass re-inforced polyester resins (VTR). In 1972 Sessa Marine started the production of small boats in polyester resin. It is the first company in Italy to install Piaggio jet on pleasure boats. Thanks to the strong innovative idea of aiming only at small boats, but with intriguing design and bold colours, over the years Sessa Marine establish itself on the national and international market for its high quality products, its noted tendency to innovation and care to design.
1988 is the year of the acquisition of Fyberstamp, specialized in the production of big hulls for major shipyard players, and Sessa Marine declares its ambitions: to progressively enter the market of more prestigious boats. At this time the yard in Cividate al Piano, close to Lake Iseo, becomes the main production unit of the company. In the early nineties the third generation of the Radice's family enters the company. Sessa Marine starts the course that will take her, after nearly 50 years from its birth, to become a lead player in the field.
As a matter of fact, today Sessa Marine, with over one thousand boats produced each year, a constant and quickly growing turnover, is one of the most successful company in the European nautical panorama. We have recently terminated construction work at the shipyard in Cividate al Piano, with an area of 37,000 square metres, 16,000 of which are indoors. The production unit employs over 300 people and makes the company able to produce yacht of greater dimension from beginning to end of the production cycle.
In addition, in 2005 the company established its sales, marketing and financial offices in the new prestigious head office in Vimercate. Since October 2006 Sessa Marine is personally present in the USA, where the new branch in Dania Beach, Florida, represent the starting point for expanding into the northern and southern American markets.
The research and development department every year realises prototypes and boat models more and more reliable, powerful and elegant, based upon first choice of materials and components, a technology always up-to-date and care for details, aesthetics and design according to the requests of the most exclusive clientele.
C43
An elegant design which leaves nothing to chance: bands and stops underline the contours of the structure and reveal the strength of the hull. Inside, each detail is finely crafted to create an atmosphere which is both modern and uncluttered but also mellow and welcoming. A successful choice of materials and colours provides a play on contrasts and allows the boat’s interior to be visualised in a different manner. Sessa Marine thus reinvents marine interior design, giving each view a 3D dimension. In this spirit, the lounge and galley present a play of colours and materials which create a unique, modern atmosphere: textured leathers on black lacquered wood or walnut, as well as velvet partitions enhanced by fetching steel pieces.

In the four decades that Sunseeker has been building boats it has evolved from a brand into an icon. To possess a Sunseeker has become an aspiration for many, to some an obsession. To own a Sunseeker is to buy into a style and to make the ultimate lifestyle statement. When only the best will do in luxury and performance, Sunseeker provides it.
Originally importers and distributors of boats from Scandinavia and the USA, Poole Power Boats (as Sunseeker was then known) started moulding and fitting out their own boats in the early 1970s. One day, when exhibiting their first 17 and 23 footers at a Boat Show, a man who was a boat dealer in the south of France commented, “if you can make them all in white, and put a full width sunbed across the stern, I’ll buy them”. The fact that they did so, and that the boats sold well exemplified a set of attitudes that has characterised Sunseeker to this day: listen to what customers want and give it to them; don’t be afraid to try something totally new; always explore new markets.
This dictum lead to some notable events and milestones, not only for the company but also for the boat building industry as a whole. Firstly, the collaboration with Don Shead to develop the race-derived deep-V hulls that have become a Sunseeker trademark, allowing owners to enjoy sporting performance as well as comfort and freedom.
Bold and luxurious interior designs set Sunseeker apart as style innovators, assisted by the appointment of naval architect and stylist Ken Freivokh, renowned for his imaginative use of space on megayachts. The modern curvaceous styling since emulated by so many other yacht builders was first developed by Sunseeker in the nineteen eighties, in parallel with styling changes in the motor industry.
Few manufacturers have pioneered as many drive and propulsion systems in leisure craft. The early Offshore 28 It was a revolutionary craft, the first in Europe with a lightweight hull specifically designed to carry stern-drive diesel engines powering twin outdrives.
Duoprops, where two propellers rotate in opposing directions for improved efficiency, were first seen on the subsequent Offshore 31.
A few years later the Superhawk 50 became the first production boat to have stern-driven race-bred Arneson surface drives, with five-bladed surface-piercing propellers carried on extended shafts. Twin 680hp V8 MAN units, half the weight of the conventional equivalents, gave speeds of up to 50 knots with surprising acceleration for a craft of 14 tons, with noise levels kept low by venting the engine exhaust behind the propeller, which also created slip - so usefully reducing drag.
Two years later, the Comanche 40 was the first family-size cruiser to offer an integral garage for the tenders and toys that are today expected as standard in the modern motoryacht.
In the early nineties Renegade 60 pushed new frontiers; it was the first production boat to be powered by water jets - expelling 32,000 gallons every minute at full throttle.
But above all, over the years the Sunseeker range has epitomised the ability to surprise the public and boat owners, and perhaps demoralise the competition. Just when you might have thought that no Sunseeker could ever match or exceed the latest model for speed, grace, style, space, flexibility or luxury - the next one did! That “wow!” factor, and the magician-like ability to provoke it, matched with a reputation for build quality is what has turned the brand into the icon it is today.
Nowhere has this been evidenced more strongly than in boat size. To evolve from the first 17 foot dayboat to the imminent 46 Metre Yacht (a near 10-fold increase in length, but over 300 times greater in displacement) in only 4 decades just could not have happened without constant change, evolution and up-scaling in every single part of the organisation, from technology to shipyards, from delivery vehicles to a world-wide network of distributors – many in countries that had far from “emerged” as markets 40 years ago.
The challenges and milestones of scale have been at times momentous. We have talked of evolution and change over time, but some of the developments have been giant leaps. In the late nineties the show-stopping jaw-dropper came in the form of the Predator 80 whose previous largest predecessor was the Predator 63. To break the 80 foot barrier was a bold move indeed, and no small challenge.
In the mid-nineties the perception of large boats was generally one of reduced performance, offering vast accommodation, but requiring a permanent crew. Sunseeker set out to change that attitude with the design of the Predator 80 - an open-deck performance motoryacht that was also available as a hard-top option. She benefited from a full programme of stress analysis, resulting in a soft-riding hull that was a fine example of modern materials technology, with super-efficient hydrodynamics allowing her 50 tons to reach speeds in excess of 46 knots. The Predator 80 set a new benchmark for luxury boating, with a perfect combination of accommodation, performance, range and handling.
Not only could the Predator 80 be effectively handled by two people, she was also an extremely comfortable boat, with an ingenious and flexible standard interior layout. Particular attention was paid to suppressing noise and vibration, with the whole interior located on resilient mounts. And she featured the most sumptuous interior design yet seen on a Sunseeker, creating a feeling of opulence that once again set new standards in production boats. As a semi-custom yacht, customers were also encouraged to choose from numerous different layout options to design an interior that suited their needs and tastes.
Sunseeker’s decision in 2001 to centralise its technical operations under one roof represented a major investment for the company – and one made at a very uncertain time in terms of global events.
The opening of the Technology Centre provided a co-ordinated platform for new investment, as well as developing world-beating design and production processes. It meant a new approach to design co-ordination, as with the dedicated interior design department. More than ever before, interior designers now work alongside sales, engineering design, yacht styling and production teams to plan and shape interiors on a computer screen, and later mocked up in full scale on the new hull jigs. New design systems like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) provide software that helps the naval architect confirm and predict how different hull shapes and configurations will behave in specific sea conditions.
Perhaps most importantly of all, the new Technology Centre has paved the way for new manufacturing capabilities, thereby increasing the build quality of Sunseekers yet further and simultaneously reducing waste and unit costs. These include systems like the new lacquering facility, which uses state-of-the-art equipment to achieve truly wonderful quality on interior woodwork. Furthermore, the new 3-axis CNC machinery provides the ability to shape and cut the components needed to fit out a particular interior plan at extremely high speed, whilst minimising waste and improving the quality of the fitting.
Computer Aided Design working in tandem with Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) produces exact correlation at every stage, from what the designer shapes on his screen, to what the machine cuts on the table; from what the fitter has in his hands, to what the customer appreciates in the finished yacht.
The technology afforded by the new centre has vaulted Sunseeker to the rare position of JIT (Just in Time) manufacturing, in which components are made at the precise time they’re needed for build, thereby minimising storage, spoilage and excess stock. The way in which these components are supplied to the production line is also radically different from boat building of the past. Complete helm control consoles can be assembled and tested at the Technology Centre, as can wiring looms and ship monitoring systems. The interior furniture and furnishings can be machined, upholstered, assembled, checked and dismantled for despatch to the boatyard, each element bearing the unique reference number of the hull to which it is to be fitted.
The next challenge in the progress of Sunseeker in terms of boat size was its greatest to date in terms of manufacturing – the 100 foot mark. Now Sunseeker was to become a shipbuilder as well as a boat builder.
The Year 2001 saw the launch of the 105 Yacht, a 105 foot (32m) motor yacht, with a predicted top speed of 32 knots. Her outstanding capabilities were in large part due to the extensive support systems she carried - and the reliability that is assured by using proven technology in a production yacht. These systems include the advanced use of hydraulics, stabilisers computer-controlled generators and electrical systems, innovations that meant the 105 Yacht was safe and reliable. The 105 Yacht also became the first British-built production boat to win two of the world’s most prestigious International Superyacht Design awards.
The years since the introduction of the 105 Yacht have seen Sunseeker develop into an accepted world-class luxury yacht builder. To succeed in doing so has required more than just an up-scaling of previous boat building skills and procedures. The new craft are classed as commercial vessels, and subject to strict regulations as to passenger and crew safety and well-being, ocean-going equipment specifications, including the qualifications of those in charge of their operation.
The way in which they are used is also different from that of smaller craft, which might spend extended periods of time in a marina between excursions. It is quite feasible that, between maintenance and any refit lay-ups, the new yachts will be in constant operation at some level 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even without owners and guests on board, the resident crew need power to conduct the extensive monitoring and maintenance that a ship’s system requires, as well as for their personal needs.
The demands made by such usage on engines, generators, pumps, electrical circuits and fluid systems, and the need for failsafe back-up at all times, particularly in open sea conditions, means that every single component (and the 37M Yacht has 108,000 of them) must be of the highest possible standard. Many of these standards are prescribed by the UK’s Maritime and Coastguard Agency, whose assessors inspect every stage of a ship’s construction, from initial hull to final hand-over of the vessel to a suitably qualified Master.
To embrace and comply with the requirements of modern shipbuilding Sunseeker have designed and created new shipyards, where even the movement of the huge hulls from shed to shed and shed to hard standing to slipway need to be computer controlled. A completely new approach to production line infrastructure was also needed, in almost every department. New materials handling equipment and procedures are an obvious essential where the maximum permitted safe weight to be lifted manually is 25kg and the end product weighs nearly 200 tonnes. Waste must be kept to a minimum, aided by on-site recycling facilities.
Innovations on the personnel side have needed to be made as well. Senior shipyard staff are now drawn from ship operation as well as traditional boat construction. Experienced mariners and engineers from the merchant marine, the Royal Navy and the private yacht community now form part of the complement, among them the very few individuals actually qualified and authorised to be in charge of a commercial vessel on the water. A new on-site Compliance Department has been created to ensure that certification standards are fully met.
The current flagship 37 Metre Yacht can be build to full MCA and RINA specification, and positioning Sunseeker fairly and squarely in the megayacht world, the new flagship 46 Metre Yacht is set to premiere in 2012.
Throughout the story of Sunseeker there runs one dominant thread: constant innovation, be it in design, performance, technology or luxury. And the pursuit of excellence, which is the stuff of iconic status, exemplified by the fact that Sunseeker craft have featured in the last 4 James Bond films.
And the next innovation? We’ll have to wait and see, but we probably won’t have to wait long for the next Sunseeker show-stopper.

As always in Tecnomar style Velvet 100’ also means the pleasure of the most total personalisation, not only in the furnishing but also in the division of the spaces.
VELVET 36
Four years after the official debut of the Velvet 35, the yacht that confirmed Tecnomar's leading position in the "open yacht" sector, the Viareggio-based shipyard is back with a new generation of "maxi" open yachts. Besides more overall length, the Velvet 36 line also introduces a number of new design features created by architect and designer Luca Dini. Starting from the hull, among the differences compared to the previous model we find a new windowing scheme. The typical flush portholes with stainless steel framing have been replaced with the more sporty and modern looking rectangular embedded portholes that can be easily opened to give even more light and air to all the cabins.
VELVET 120
The latest Tecnomar Velvet 120 luxury yacht its modern, dynamic and powerful lines combine with luxurious and sumptuous features.
The interior design draws inspiration from the 17th centuries and imitates the Boulle technique, which takes its name from Andrè-Charles Boulle, the famous cabinetmaker who invented this distinctive style by decorating furniture with metal, brass and tortoiseshell inlays.
NADARA 26
Nadara 26 fly is dash, harmony and excellent performance and at the same time elevated class. The space for living in the sun is extraordinarily vast both on the upper deck and in the cockpit. The style of the comfort in the day and in the night areas is decidedly prestigious. Rather than a boat it seems like staying in a large, luxury apartment with every possible comfort. Utmost personalisation not only in the furnishing but also in the division of the environments. Completely modifiable according to the owner’s needs.
NADARA 95
A fly which allows you to live in the sea
Nadara 95' fly gives the feeling of living in a two-floor highly comfortable luxury apartment on the sea with a terrace. An apartment that is capable of moving across the sea at a speed of 30 knots. The perfectly subdivided environments are connected by two stairways, one in the cockpit and another which is internal. The panoramic fly bridge offers ample space exposed to the sun. The main deck, with its vast open space living room and the kitchen that is equipped with all types of accessories, represents the convivial and recreational area. The lower deck is dedicated to privacy and relax: it includes four spacious and bright cabins, all of which include an independent bathroom.
NADARA 35
Tecnomar Nadara 35 fly is big but light. Extraordinary dimensions, this boat stands out in a crowd for its slender and racy line. Exclusive cocktail and dinner parties can be organised on the very spacious flying bridge. The extremely bright open space saloon is a real eye catcher. The lower deck is reserved for the sleeping area with 5 cabins including those for guests, the VIP cabin and the Master cabin. The latter extends for the entire width of the vessel. Nadara 35 fly shows how great it is in navigation too: it gets up 31 knots thanks to the twin MTU engines of 2285 hp.
NADARA 43
The latest Tecnomar model is represented by a 43-meter long motoryacht entirely made in fiberglass.
Nadara 43 is ready to set sail starting next July 2008 and like any other Nadara model its outboard profile has been built to maintain cleanliness and tradition.
Passageways are everywhere on its three decks and there is no full beam deck to ensure greater protection when passing through one area to another.
The motoryacht is designed to accomodate 14 passengers and 6 crew members.
The flying deck for relaxation and sunbathing is equipped with a spa bath and a spacious sun deck, comfortable sofas, sunbeds and armchairs.

JEANNEAU
With its special blend of uncommon savoir-faire and investment in the latest technologies, Jeanneau had cemented its place among the top European boat manufacturers.
Computer-aided design Jeanneau anticipated market demands by continually pursuing new ideas using the most advanced drafting tool on the global market: CATIA computer-aided design software. CATIA 3-D design software allows for the integrated development of the many parts that make up a boat, from the concept phase to production and marketing to spare parts. CATIA also allows members of the Jeanneau Design Department to share their knowledge and better apply their individual skills at each step of the process, from design to production. Jeanneau is truly at the forefront of technology with this software, which improves the quality of designs and reduces necessary production time before launching new boats on the market.
Computer-aided laboratory and factory work Model construction is carried out by a 5-axel robot that is capable of producing complex prototype parts, without constraints of size or shape. A leader in the use of composite materials in construction, Jeanneau has mastered the various techniques of simultaneous spray and injection moulding. Jeanneau’s expertise in composite materials encompasses the combination of even the most complex techniques to obtain optimal results. Advanced techniques and rigorous application of fibreglass coats allow Jeanneau to create a mould with precise dimensions. Jeanneau has a considerable competitive advantage over other manufacturers and guarantees its customers incomparable quality.
The robotic woodworker Woodwork is the soul of our boats ...and the heart of our trade. Digitally controlled, 3-axel robots allow for precise, simultaneous cutting of multiple wood panels. Over 10,000 wooden pieces are produced each day by these machines. Material production by direct logistics flow allows for maximum flexibility. Jeanneau has forged its reputation, in part, on the quality and demonstrated skill of its woodwork. In particular, the shipyards have always given special attention to the selection of different types of wood, most notably teak, which lends a warm and inviting quality to the interiors of its sailboats and motor yachts. Teak is becoming an increasingly rare and endangered natural resource, however. It is also increasingly difficult to find teak with a pleasingly homogenous hue and grain, a development that complicates the process of carving wood panels and increases the amount of scrap. Concerned about this issue, in recent years, Jeanneau has turned to research to find alternative solutions. This led to a new partnership with the Italian company, Alpi, a specialist in woodcutting. As a result, a new procedure was developed for the creation of fine wood laminate panels to replace teak on flat surfaces.
The result of an exclusive procedure that involves staining, slicing and assembling alternative exotic woods, Fine Teak® also boasts excellent technical qualities. It benefits from an extraordinarily warm, uniform hue and features the same characteristic wood grain of classic teak. In this initiative, Jeanneau is contributing toward sustainable development and fair trade. We are utilizing a blend of time-honoured skill in the field of woodworking and new technological advantages to advance, while carefully preserving the warm look and feel of the boats’ interior woodwork on which Jeanneau’s reputation was built.
Computer-aided manufacturing
Jeanneau’s decks are now entirely produced in our assembly lines by digitally controlled cutting and drilling machines.
This machinery takes the place of hours of backbreaking work by our employees, and it guarantees improved security and quality of our products. Jeanneau continually reinvests in its future to advance production techniques, to stay competitive, and to offer ever more innovative, high-performance boats for our customers.
Who, other than a sailor, could respect nature more?
For those of us who sail the open waters, whether along the coasts or on more protected waters, this is the only argument we need: we must protect our fragile marine environment for continued sailing pleasure and the enjoyment of future generations. We, at the Jeanneau factory and shipyards, share your values and have long engaged in a voluntary initiative to protect the environment. The Prisma Process, developed by Jeanneau, is a unique construction method for industrial composite pieces.
This new injection-moulding procedure offers many unique advantages.
1 Improved Safety for Humans and the Environment • Automated processes protect the operator from inhaling noxious fumes.
• One-fourth reduction of volatile organic compound emissions (VOC) better protects the environment.
2 Guarantees of Greater Security and Reliability • Mechanical resistance is improved.
• The pieces are lighter, stronger and more rigid.
• A more uniform construction improves overall quality.
3 Enhanced Aesthetic Value • The finish is a superior quality.
• Inside and out, the result is smoother, cleaner and more attractive. Jeanneau loves the sea and respects nature
• For well over a year, the entire Jeanneau fleet, including sailboats and powerboats, has been equipped with engines that meet the toughest gas and noise level emissions standards, standards that are now obligatory in 2006 – or in some countries, will be in 2007.
• Having mastered our patented Prisma Process® technology nearly 5 years ago, Jeanneau now applies the process across product lines. All new sailboats benefit from injection-moulded hulls. Due to their closed moulds, the hulls created using this process allow for a significant reduction of V.O.C. (volatile organic compounds) emissions into the atmosphere.
• The development of “Fine Teak®” for the interior woodwork on sailboats demonstrates good stewardship of rare and endangered natural resources by substituting a wood with identical aesthetic and technical properties, thereby also conserving the warmth and soul of a boat’s interior.
• Today, the Jeanneau factory and yards anticipate the recommendations of the Federation of Marine Industries, and Jeanneau has ensured that the largest possible number of production models would be eligible for the “Bateau Bleu” environmental label. Of course, all new models have been conceptualised with this in mind.
• Jeanneau is proud to announce that we have been IS0 14001 certified since 2004. Responsible management of energy, recyclable materials and emissions of V.O.C., among others, are all outlined in a multi-year investment plan that involves the ensemble of Jeanneau factories and shipyards in limiting the potential environmental effects of production.
• Now a standard on all boats over 9 metres in length, the heads are equipped with waste holding tanks to ensure protection of delicate marine ecosystems. With this initiative, Jeanneau anticipates the inevitable adoption of stricter environmental protection laws in the coming years. Jeanneau’s programme for environmental safety and protection is exceptional in the marine industry, and very rare is the competitor who undertakes similar initiatives.
This programme complements our quality initiative, which we began implementing with our certification ISO 9001, maintained since 1995.
